Fondas Sumerson Such a beautiful album with so many influences mixed all together! One of the most interesting releases of the current year for sure!
Well done guys!! Favorite track: Thy Will Be Done.
CoughCool

CoughCool I love the attitude display in some of the songs, We Belong Nowhere, "But let's not get sentimental, The big dollar rules us all", & Bear Witness, "Citizens of a dying empire, Tell me, how lucky are we?" Classic tongue in cheek lines like that, earns my favor, looking at the state of our world and the corruption of those individuals... and the societies that put up with that bullshit. I really appreciate the genuine honesty.
Amazing record. Your brand of goth is refreshing.
& you brought sax☠ Favorite track: Human Condition is Terminal.

Catahulla All great tunes but just something about Forever? which hits the mark…. Favorite track: Forever?.
neverwhere2410

neverwhere2410 Solid album from start to finish. Fantastic guitar work, tons of catchy riffs, Michelle's keyboard playing provides the right kind of background atmosphere for each track. Love how her backup vocals are mixed too. James' vocals are awesome throughout - reminiscent of a lot of different goth/rock vocal styles that I love but never copying any specific thing. Just a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience, great work! Favorite track: All Shall Fall.
preciousken

preciousken lovely tribute to the horror film icon. Both in the lyrical content but also the absolute face melting riff and gothabilly guitar tone. The vocals are attitude, snarl, and croon. Michelle adds in a lovely offset tone on the chorus which swells and solidifies. The back and forth guitar solos on the bridge are an absolute masterclass in movement and melody. This song is a 10 on the AFB scale. (Absolute Fuking Banger) Favorite track: Vampira - The Ballad of Maila.

I feel so old today The time's led us astray This shroud of memory What's left for you and me? They promise better days How soon they turn away We're in a dire state The words don't resonate The fading will to fight The dying of the light This anguish in our hearts Our whole world's come apart This longing that we feel Is truth no longer real? Blind eyes are all I see This plastic society Oh, a fleeting melody Out of a fading dream Embers raining sky Nightmare waking eye A fleeting melody Out of a fading dream Stand your ground Stand your ground A fleeting melody Out of a fading dream Stand your ground Stand your ground

Bygone tomorrows fading All that we knew has changed No more ground to go to Your heart aches and it feels so strange Displaced by wheels of progress Frayed edge of society torn Like autumn leaves we're scattered I don't know this place anymore And we, we belong nowhere We, we belong nowhere We, we belong nowhere We can never go back again But let's not get sentimental The big dollar rules of all Rise up, the cold steel skyline Kinder gentler wrecking ball Gleaming tower stands empty In the doorways the broken sleep We walk past, pretend not to notice 'Cause we've got our appointments to keep And we, we belong nowhere We, we belong nowhere We, we belong nowhere We can never go back again We, we belong nowhere We, we belong nowhere We, we belong nowhere We can never go back again Again Again...

Bear Witness 04:33
Citizens of a dying empire Tell me, how lucky are we We were chosen to bear witness To the collapse of our society For the lies, they shall rise Never ever compromise Soup kitchen lines are growing While bull market profits rise Bear witness to the fall The ending of it all Bear witness to the fall Bear witness, witness, to the fall Debates in the halls of power They pass the buck and point the blame They heap riches on our betters While the world goes up in flames Judgment day, we shall pay Rich man pays his sins away See the vicar dine with Judas Salvation is so far away Bear witness to the fall The ending of it all Bear witness to the fall Bear witness, witness, to the fall Bear witness to the fall The ending of it all Bear witness to the fall Bear witness, witness, to the fall It’s not enough to say we care It’s not enough to stand and stare So muster all you've got within We can’t let the bastards win For we all live and we all die Under the same moon sun and sky We’ve got to get out on the line We’re running out of time
4.
I say a prayer in the dark Thy kingdom come, thy will be done The tinderbox meets its spark Avenging angel has come Stand at the end of the age To turn around it's too late And while we bicker and rage The enemy's at the gates God won't save us from ourselves God won't save us from ourselves We think that we're so evolved And yet it's always the same Murder and rape sanctified Atrocities in God's name Now our intentions are pure Driven by faith, scorn, and greed And now our victory's assured March forth to make the world bleed God won't save us from ourselves God won't save us from ourselves
5.
The lies we tell the world The lies we tell ourselves The daily masquerade Twisted games that we play You shut the door Stumble to the floor You’ll open your heart no more Human condition is terminal The years I lost away My own self I betrayed I’d lost all will to fight With not a trace in sight To my fate resigned Just leave me behind In a cell of my design Human condition is terminal And death shall call for thee And yet this life could be beautiful If you just let it be When your own self you betray Leave your demons out to play The abuse hurts just as sure The harm is still incurred But I called for help She saved me from myself Brought my poor heart back to health Human condition is terminal And death shall call for thee And yet this life could be beautiful If you just let it be Human condition is terminal And death shall call for thee But we can live before we die What will you choose to be?

Just Let Go 03:25
In the dead of night you curse my name By the morning light do you feel the same Just let go - no fond farewells Just let go - I wish you well But keep your strange delusions to yourself To yourself... It seems that you've got your truth, well I've got mine Nevermore these paths shall intertwine Do you dream of me when you lay in your bed I've got a place to crash rent-free in your head Just let go Just let go Just let go Just let go - no fond farewells Just let go - I wish you well But keep your strange delusions to yourself Just let go - no fond farewells Just let go - guess I'll see you in hell But keep your strange delusions to yourself To yourself

You starved yourself for seventeen Made yourself a vision of fantasy Cinderella of the Bal Caribe Dark seductress of the tiny screen You couldn’t fight their power They stole away your dream Out in the witching hour I can still hear your screams Oh Maila Vampira Rapier wit and razor blades Femme fatale, the role you played Every man would be your fool Undead late night glamour ghoul She approaches through the spectral mist Blood red lips with a poison kiss But in the end, everything was lost You fought the power and you paid the cost They took it all from you Another in your place You never got your due Replaced by a younger face Oh Maila Vampira Oh Maila Vampira, whoa-oa Lost in obscurity You couldn’t see it through Outrageous travesty We shall remember you They took it all from you Another in your place You never got your due Replaced by a younger face Oh Maila Vampira Oh Maila Vampira, whoa-oa

Forever? 04:30
Heaven help us The time’s been so unkind In our heads we’re living Just lock the door behind We’re disillusioned Around and round we go In gilded cages screaming Our suffocation’s slow Will it be like this forever? Will I see you again? (The walls are closing in) Someday will we come together Will you recognize me then? Sunrise east, sunset west Every day just like the last Paranoia loves a void I feel I’m fading fast Every night I’m dreaming You’ve gone across the sea I don’t know how to reach you So scared of what’s to be Will it be like this forever? Will I see you again? (The walls are closing in) Someday will we come together Will you recognize me then? Will it be like this forever? Will I see you again? (The walls are closing in) Someday will we come together Will you recognize me then?

Must this be so My fading light Thoughts overflow With the twilight Red weary eyes But sleep just won’t come Can’t bear to face Tomorrow’s sun Please don’t take it all away I’d give it all for one more day Splinter of hope Tear at my soul I can’t accept What's beyond my control Message is there but I Can’t bear to read I’m not prepared Forever bleed Please don’t take it all away I’d give it all for one more day Still so much I need to say Please don’t go, just one more day ALL THAT WE LOVE IN THIS WORLD ALL SHALL FALL

Requiem 04:21
The birds still sing The skies are blue The cool bay breeze In spite of the loss of you We're heading home Past the park where we used to play I feel so alone This is your ascension day They're countless The gifts you gave to me And even though the sorrows flow We'll carry your melody If there's a heaven You'd be there at your parents' side Telling your stories They'd be beaming with such pride My aching heart Soul is sinking right down to the floor My dear, depart Your bells shall ring no more Regardless I cherish your memory Onward we go, we love you so We'll carry your melody
